The year 2014 is just two weeks old and we've been back at it for a week now.
Happy and also a little proud, we would like to introduce you to the new member of our laser family today: the handy but very efficient one ARC Fox Laser, with a wavelength of 810 µm.
With the help of this laser we can noticeably expand our treatment spectrum.
Two very important innovations are photothermal therapy (PTT). EmunDo® and biostimulation (LLLT).
PTT with EmunDo is a laser-assisted therapy for gum disease. Using a green dye and laser activation, the bacteria in the gum pockets are specifically killed and the tissue is disinfected. This treatment is very gentle, safe and painless.
LLLT, the so-called low-level laser therapy, aims at biostimulation and is widely used in wound healing and as pain therapy.
